Participants: 8 - 16 The purpose of this exercise is to bring group members closer together. This is true in the physical and metaphorical meaning. Many groups need to unravel the difficulties before they can become a 'team'. Not all groups are teams. In fact, most of the 'teams' we facilitate for are simple groups that have been thrown together as a 'team'. Physically they will be close together, and the reality of their interdependence is played out in this game. Cohesiveness and teamwork creates a closeness in the group and begins breaking down the invisible walls we have around us. The tools it will take to unravel the knot are the same tools needed to overcome challenges the organization or team will face. Important Note! about the exercises.

Good communication is absolute essential and the group will experience how easily the group can break down into small sub-groups or 'cliques'. The break down into small sub-groups is not necessarily bad, but in the end the entire group will succeed or fail together. Who should go for Knot A Team?
